We’re throwing a Premiere Party for the series finale of A Chef’s Life where it all began — Kinston! Gates open to the screening at 5 at Grainger Stadium so, we thought, why not have a little Sunday Funday first?

Rare as an eastern North Carolina hog that flies, Chef & the Farmer is hosting a ticketed four-course brunch from 11-2 on Sunday with some Vivian Howard classics. Here’s the menu:

First course: Seasonal Share Appetizer
Party Magnet Cheese Ball, Apple Preserves

Second Course (2 options):
Seasonal Pumpkin Soup
Smoked Trout Salad with Broken Egg Dressing

Third Course (3 options):
Ben’s Pancake Sunday Pancakes with strawberry preserves and syrup (from Deep Run Roots)
Pork Lasagna (from Deep Run Roots)
Shirred Eggs

Fourth Course: Seasonal Dessert
Chocolate Beet Cake
